Sport and culture meet at BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano through an exciting 70-stage journey inspired by Olympic and Paralympic values, spanning nature, education, and active participation. In the year of its twentieth anniversary, from September 2025 to June 2026, Fondazione Riccardo Catella presents BAM FAIR PLAY 25/26, an extensive program specially designed as part of the Milano Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad. Starting from the five Olympic Rings and the three Agitos traced across the park’s lawns – in collaboration with the Olympic Museum in Lausanne – the public will be engaged with five major community actions, performing arts, talks, workshops, walks, and a themed podcast. The program begins on Saturday, September 6 with the city-wide musical journey leading up to the seventh edition of the Back to the City Concert, scheduled for Thursday, September 11 at 8 pm in the large botanical garden of Porta Nuova.

Created in collaboration with artists, athletes, and leading international institutions – such as the Olympic Museum in Lausanne – along with numerous local organizations, BAM FAIR PLAY 25/26 is a participatory, inclusive, and multidisciplinary project designed to activate the city in all its complexity and engage diverse audiences through unique and unrepeatable cultural moments. Its aim is to build bridges among people, overcome differences, and foster access to culture through the universal language of the arts.
