BAM Community Talent 2026
Five artists, five parks and a brand-new show on an urban tour across Milan: the latest edition of “BAM Community Talent”, organised by the Riccardo Catella Foundation, gets underway with the creation of an original production entirely dedicated to contemporary circus and street theatre, which will debut on 16 and 17 May in the city’s Trotter, Martesana, Monte Stella and Chiesa Rossa, and will culminate on 24 May at the Biblioteca degli Alberi to mark the fifth anniversary of “BAM Circus – Il Festival delle Meraviglie al Parco”.
Following the initial experience in 2025, the project is establishing itself as an artistic production platform supporting emerging creativity by introducing a new format that combines the competition with a genuine workshop-based programme of professional artistic production. The five most talented artists are in fact called upon to develop an original collective show under the guidance of circus artist Alice Gaia Roma, whose practice is rooted in the public space and site-specific creation.
The experience goes beyond the training and competitive aspects and opens up to a process of shared creation that transforms the city into a widespread stage, bringing the language of circus and street theatre to unconventional spaces.
The five selected artists are:
Claudia Nicole Chiroli and Mattia Ferroni (aged 29 and 28) – discipline: Hand-to-hand
Felipe Gonzalo Flores Toledo (aged 37) – discipline: Juggling
Luis Miguel Carrera (aged 42) – discipline: Cyr wheel
Roberta Mazzeo (aged 38) – discipline: Hula hoop
Samuele Persico (aged 24) – discipline: Juggling
